A Cut Above the Rest

I've got to travel a lot for med school rotations all over the country, so it's pretty tough to find a legit barber shop when moving into a completely new city where you can actually get a GREAT taper fade. I spike up my hair and only want my sides and back faded up, and looking through yelp and most google reviews wasn't a help because most barber shops in Brooklyn have either no review whatsoever, while very few had a review with only stars as their rating and no written remarks. Luckily, I found out about this barber shop through some positive feedback on google and decided to give this place a try. The barbershop has a nice vibe to it, plenty of couches to sit, there's a plasma that was playing news/talk show at the time, and there were PLENTY of barbers. I sat down for literally less than a minute and was called up to sit down for a haircut. The barbers there were nice and friendly. As for the haircut (the fade in particular), it was AWESOME. The fade was clean as hell, and it wasn't too OG for the hospital setting I work in. I paid 11 bucks for the haircut which is WAY less than average, so I'm definitely coming back here and would recommend this place to anyone in the Brooklyn area. Best haircuts/fades I've ever got was in Fort Lauderdale/Miami at Cut N Corners Barbershop and Hair International Barbershop in Baltimore, and A Cut Above the Rest is as good as they are. No exaggeration. Check this place out before you try anywhere else - you won't be disappointed.
