I was there Friday an I found a long hair in there Chicken dumpling. What made me mad was before the dumpling came out all I had was a soda an a small soup. They had the nerve to charge after I ran into the bathroom to throw up.

I have called every day this week NO ONE answers the phone what kind of freaking business never answers the phone I repeat stay away they cheat you then don't answer phone again called every day no one answers phone how rude. I will report them to BBB they need to answer phone they can't run a business without answering the phone. Stay away they cheat people.

Rude waitress, I don't see why force me into sitting somewhere I don't feel comfortable on. There was absolutely no customers, all tables but one were empty otherwise I understand. It's not the first time we were greeted this way anyway, very unpolitely always. 86 Noodles was our favorite place to go every weekend in bayridge. There are other places, same quality and definitely better service. So long delicious soup. We will take our money somewhere else.

86 Noodles came up during my Yelp app search in Bay Ridge. Most reviewers mentioned their non-Americanized sesame chicken. So I went in there to check them out. The thin chicken strips were indeed different than others but it was too oily and sweet. The plate was left with oil after consumption. Since few had bragged about their hot and sour soup, I wanted to get a taste as well. The two piece of meat in the tiny bowl was ah-okay. The MSG got me really thirsty hence I ordered a soda. The male long-haired server brought me a can of soda. That's it. No ice nor cup! How slacky!

One star for the tummy ache and another star for the inattentive service. By the way, I like the bar section with a TV where we seated. I would recommend you go at your own risk, and if you do go please visit when there's no sports game going on. The staff was busy placing bets on the World Cup games with their portable Apple devices.

Their claim to fame is noodles, and this they do exceptionally well. As to why the variation in ratings, I do not know. What I do know is that you can rely on them for takeout and/or dine-in if there are tables available. Although relatively more expensive than their 8th Ave counterpart, it's to be expected of this highly trafficked corridor of 86th/4th Ave.
