Definitely a weird mix to have japanese food and fried chicken. My review is strictly on the fried chicken, which is cooked fresh and is nice and juicy. Seasoning is slightly bland, but forgivable.

Went to this restaurant from NYC and the food is amazing. You'll never look at KFC or Popeyes the same way again. And the steak tips.... Which fast food restaurant serves this? It was really delicious and the food is worth the drive.

I must say I was very afraid to try hibachi in a dominant urban area. But I must say that the food is really really good and the owner Frank is a real stand up guy and was very kind to me and my partner after a hard days work. Food was very fresh and delicious. I recommend the chicken tenders definitely blows Popeyes and KFC out of the water. I would definitely recommend 86 hibachi to everyone.
