When this place first opened a few years ago, I was excited. $16 for acrylic tips? $15 for a mani pedi? Hell yeah. Everything was affordable and reasonable, let's be real. This store is on Jamaica avenue, not fifth avenue. They gradually started raising the price over the years and I was fine with it; I rather go here than the other places on the Ave because I knew they would do my nails good.
Now their prices are ridiculous. $12 for a pedicure and $7 for a manicure? I rather not. Not only is this place over priced, it's DIRTY. They don't sanitize their tools, their nail polishes are old, the pedicure foot tub looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly. On top of that, I've noticed how damaging the acrylic they use is. And I know that ALL acrylic will ruin your nails, this is worse. It leaves indents in my nail bed, which only a really cheap brand of acrylic does.
Why raise the price if the service is just as crappy and the products used still old and nasty? On top of that, no one here knows English or understands what you properly need. Don't even get me started on how they have people working here who don't even have their license, such as this young lady who looks to be only 15 and the child of the owner.
