Beautiful bank from 1841, it has a new life since 1998 pre-skyscraper New York history is this.

Lots of tourists taking pictures of the large USA flag and George Washington statue. Really not much to do.

This is a must when going to NY. Be sure to go early as there will be fewer people.

Awe-inspiring building by my favorite architects: McKim, Mead, & White. The low profile of the building, surrounded by enormous skyscrapers, is something to treasure downtown.
