If only Mega would find commercial space to lease for its terminals. Otherwise, great service. I really like their double decker fleet.

The short Indian man who was servicing us was extremely rude to me. The Baltimore/Washington line is formed in one line. I told him I was early and he told me to get in the other line. I was confused to what line he was talking about and threw the chain at me so I can step in the next line! You hire trashy people like that for customer service? I would rate it zero stars if I had to. Will never deal with this company AGAIN!

I have traveled Megabus from NYC to Boston about 5 times. Each time, the reps on-site make it their mission to get everyone on the correct bus. When I have asked to ride standby (e.g., my ticket was for a different time), they were amenable.

Last year I took one of these buses from Boston back to NYC, I got off the bus once in NYC and walked to the corner from where the bus dropped us off to realize I left a blue bag with some clothings I bought there. I went back to the bus and asked the driver to please hop back on to get my belongings and he refused. I called the 1(800) several times which was a lost cause because they don't care and have you chasing your tail. Apparently either they don't have the drivers searching the bus for belongings left behind to take them to a lost and found or the driver just took mines knowing they have no one at the bus drop off location to supervise them. I stopped using this service ever since.
Also, forget about cheap fares because one way to Boston from NYC isn't lower than $25 bucks, the wifi 9/10 times don't work and pray your seat has a working power outlet.

March 25th, 2016 I had tickets to New York City at 10 A.M I came to the station on time and the Bus had left early. I was upset, but I paid a $5 difference to catch the one at 10:30 A.M no big deal.
On my way to New York we got into an accident because our Bus driver was way too impatient while taking a right to get into a lane and we hit another bus. We were stuck on that right for an hour, then our bus moved to pull over, and we were stuck for 2 hours and then 30 minutes. Police came, they set up cones, escorted us to a local shuttle bus, and we went to New York from there.
I missed multiple meetings and was late to the main event of my evening of where I was going.
I left NYC the same day for the bus at 11:59 P.M, and the bus came 1 hour late at about 1 A.M. The weather was dropping, it was very windy, and I was very angry.
I contacted Megabus which by the way has the worst customer service system and they told me that they would not refund my trip because the accident "only took 23 minutes". Whoever wrote the report lied because there's no way you could call the police, have them arrive, have them set up cones, have them call shuttle buses, and get us into the city ALL within 23 minutes. That's impossible.
I contacted them respectfully even though I had every right to express my deep anger for that day, and they did a poor job with handling our situation.
I am very disappointed and I will no longer rely on Megabus for transportation.
