Amongst the dirtiest of train stations. Vending machines never. Booth agents are rude.I rather walk than take this station.

Memory Lane...
I remember riding the 3rd Ave. El, Hearns, The Loews Theater, Alexanders, Miles, Thom Mc Canns, Florsheim Shoes, Flag Brothers, Castro Convertables and too many more to list. The 3rd Avenue Hub was the place to shop, eat and hang out, especially during the Christmas holidays. It was a big deal when the "El" was deconstructed.
