20/20 Eyewear

DO NOT GO HERE!!! HONESTLY!!! I WANT TO WARN EVERYONE. THE GLASSES ARE CHEAP. THEY ARE ALL PLASTIC!!!! I PAID ALMOST 300 DOLLARS FOR A FRAME THAT WAS ON LINE FOR 50 DOLLARS. ALL THE GLASSES THAT I HAVE HAD FROM THEM HAVE BROKEN. FIRST, I SAT ON A SOFT COUCH AND IT WAS UNDER MY LEG NOT ENOUGH PRESSURE TO BREAK AND WHAT HAPPEN THEY BROKE. I GO BACK TO THEM AND TELL THEM THIS...THEY MADE ME PAY AGAIN. OK FINE I NEED GLASSES SO I PAID BUT THEN THE NEXT PAIR I GOT BROKE...YES I AM ROUGH ON GLASSES BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS THEY ARE CHEAP..SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO TO A PLACE WHERE THEY HAVE REALLLLLLLLLLLLL NAME BRAND FRAMES...SMH THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE TO MY EYES!!!!

I had previously gotten a pair of glasses from Warby Parker, but after just a few months they were already falling apart. On my way home from NYU I walked by 20/20 Eyewear and thank god I did! They have a really amazing selection of frames to choose from in every price range. I found a pair of Dolabany glasses that I loved and the owner, Michael, took care of everything for me and they were ready the next day! I had such a great experience I took my mom there when she came to visit and took advantage of the $99 deal--an eye exam, frames, and lenses for just $99!!! I now order all of my contacts from here as well, and am looking to get another pair here just for backups, it was such a good deal!
Everyone was really personable and helpful, and I felt confident I was getting sold something of good quality--unlike my experience at Warby Parker.

*They also changed the design of the store from the pictures I see here and I love the new look! Very Greenwich Village chic!
