Fairly quiet, this dark basement lounge right off Rivington is a breath of fresh air. They have a regular cast of DJs spinning funk/old school hip-hop/70s/80s/etc nostalgia, including resident, DJ Hakim on Sundays. Happy Hour special (before 10pm) is $5 cocktails, which go up to $8 after 10. There is a nice selection, and they are interesting and delicious. They also have a reasonable selection of beer, but not much for craft beers. Outside you can smoke or talk with your friends on a low traffic street most nights. I come by this place occasionally to wind down. Worth checking out.

Went for happy hour, great prices, friendly folks and happy hour goes late. A great little place to duck into to avoid most of the neighborhood.
