Kristina Marsh - Counsellor & Psychotherapist
I am an Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Coach covering Haywards Heath and the surrounding Sussex areas, as well as working Online. I offer a warm and compassionate approach to therapy allowing for sessions which are safe for you to explore your situation, gain new perspectives, and together develop a deeper understanding of the ways you think, feel and behave. I will offer both support and, at times, challenge, helping you to create meaningful, lasting change and reach where you would like to be.
Through my work in private practice and previous role at a community-based charity, I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship matters, abuse, trauma and addiction. (Please see below for more.)
My career began in the education sector as a Secondary teacher and tutor, and I have experience collaborating with and assisting people of all ages. My interests are helping people and creating a safe space for them to explore their situation, fulfil their potential and come through difficult times.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
BA(Hons), MA, PGCE, PGDip Integrative Counselling and Coaching, MBACP.
Working Together
Reaching out for help can often feel daunting, but with life being full of various challenges, therapy can be an act of self-care - a way of making sense of your past and present, and an opportunity to invest in yourself for the future.
Therapy can help in a number of ways, including learning to process emotions differently, overcoming feelings of anxiety or depression, improving relationships, building a stronger sense of self, working through and beyond abuse or trauma, unlocking potential for growth and change either personally or professionally, and so much more.
My clinical approach is Integrative (including Person-Centred, CBT, Psychodynamic, Existential, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis), and as a Personal Consultant I incorporate these different approaches with Coaching techniques to create a tailored approach to therapy. This allows us to work both at depth and in solution-focused ways in order to fully explore your situation and develop your internal and external resources.

My office is located in central Haywards Heath at 65 Priory Way, RH16 3LS. My practice is easy to reach from surrounding areas such as Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Lindfield, Cuckfield. Weekday and evening appointments are available.
