Kindergarten offer letters
Kindergarten offer letters come out today.  In New York City, children enter kindergarten in September of the calendar year they turn five. Children are guaranteed a kindergarten seat at a public school. Once your child starts kindergarten, they can remain at the same school until its final elementary grade.

Class Visit Day
Throughout the year, our school hosts Class Visit Days where parents and caregivers are invited into the classroom to meet the teachers, preview the curriculum, and explore current student projects.
Families: after morning drop-off in the 19th Street Courtyard Entrance, please sign-in for this event with your photo identification. The school staff will guide you into the school.

PS 295 will be offering 3K seats for the 2024-2025 school year!   Families interested in enrolling their children in 3K Opens in a new browser tab  can do so by adding them to the myschool’s Opens in a new browser tab  waitlist withing the myschool’s Opens in a new browser tab  portal.  Waitlist seat offers will begin as of Monday, July 8th!

In House Afterschool 2024-25 - K - 5
Can you believe we are at the last few days of the year.  Well, this is a great time to think about next year's in-house after-school program.  NIA just provided their flyer with a two payment options.  
 
Please note that we now offer two payment options.
• Option 1: Full Payment of $3,200 due at registration ($100 Discount if paid upfront).
• Option 2: Pay 5 Equal Payments of $660 (totaling $3,300) once upon enrollment, and in November, January, March, and May. You will be sent an invoice after the form submission.
 
Please note that they need a minimum of 30 children in the program in order to run it.  Children from Kindergarten to 5^th grade have a variety of different activities to do from cooking class, author visits, dance class and much more.  After school hours are from 2:40 pm until 5:45.
